Red Wine, Red Roses
The young pair of blue eyes is named Edward. He moved to this small towm to take care of his mother, “in these violentest of times.” He had a strong southern accent and a steady and pleasing tone to his voice.
At first he would come with his mother each Wednesday, and only a brief how do you do was all he and Penny could ever share. His mother demanded the rest of his attention. Penny also knew it was because Mother Edward did not approve the minute she laid eyes on her.
Then one Thursday in Spring, almost a year after she wandered into this town, Penny was taken aback when Barb told her she had a visitor. Penny walked into the dining area, and there stood Edward, Sturdy and soggy, with a brown paper bag in his hand.

I'm moving to Girard to an apartment just two mini flights down from my best friend from College, Alzoo. The start of this blog is the start of this new chapter of my life.
